| - Zorabel considers Captain Plunder to be "a darn fool".
- The Pirate Queen was first seen when she heard that Captain Plunder had stolen the Tantaragor Idol from the Tantaror. Furious that one of her subjects had subjected her home to danger, she ordered Plunder to leave before the aliens came looking for it. Before he could, deity Ekkletos activated the idol and teleported Zorabel and others to an unknown dimension. She patiently listened to the elephant's explanation of why they were here and, when Knuckles the Echidna was sent to retrieve the "heretics", Zorabel angrily lambasted Plunder for getting her into this mess. Knuckles was successful and Zorabel's party were returned home. She stepped in when Plunder refused to hand over documents relating to the Floating Island and requested that Tom fetch her knuckle-dusters, supposedly to give Plunder a beating. Zorabel later returned with a proposition for Plunder, asking if Plunder wanted to take her daughters, the Spice Maidens, on a treasure hunt. Plunder initially refused but Zorabel insisted, eventually joining her girls on the ship. Unleashing her treasure map, the party ventured to Skull Rock to listen to the advice of serpent Krakiota. Zorabel was initially frustrated at Plunder's bungling of the three alotted questions to Krakiota, but soon fell foul to the wily fish herself. She then allowed Simpson the Cat to cook the crook, softening his stance somewhat. Once the crew finally located the treasure, Zorabel was carried to the tomb by Mr Scratchings and another of the Sky Pirates, revealing to Plunder on the way where the treasure was. After telling Simpson just how much she cared for his bodily injuries, Zorabel watched as Plunder inflicted himself with The Curse of Akotek and mocked him for his stupidity. Back on the ship, she forced Plunder to ride behind them in case his bad luck passed on to them. However, she relented slightly and offered him the choice of two chests, one containing the treasure, knowing that his curse would prevent him from getting the right one. Unfortunately for Zorabel, Plunder picked the correct box, leaving Zorabel and her daughters empty-handed.
