- Vicki Vale is a photojournalist for the Gotham Gazette. In many ways she's the Batman equivalent of Lois Lane. Vicki has suspicions that Batman and Bruce Wayne are one and the same, but she can never seem to gather enough evidence to back up these claims. During Bruce Wayne's disappearance, she begins to notice a sudden change in the behaviours of the current Batman (now Dick Grayson) and Bruce (now Hush).
- A reporter and former paramour of Bruce Wayne, Vicki Vale went to Wayne Manor to investigate the disappearance of Tim Drake only to run into Tam Fox. Vicki found herself being targeted by an assassin of Ra's Al Ghul. The whole time, Vicki interrogated Tam about where Tim had been with her. Tam blurted out the first cover story she thought of: She and Tim were engaged. Later, Vicki is seen telephoning Alfred with panic. She cries for help but her phone call is cut short by the White Ghost, one of Ra's Al Ghul's assasians and she flees the scene. Find out more about Vicki here.
- Victoria "Vicki" Vale was a local Gotham-based child model who was devastated when a dog in a photo shoot was killed by a camera truck and was simply replaced by a look-alike. She swore that the camera would never again lie because of her and began to learn all she could about photography. Becoming independent, she also began turning down ethically questionable jobs despite pressure from her parents to the contrary. After graduating from Gotham High School, Vale studied photography and journalism at Vassar College before beginning her professional career as a photojournalist.
