The grapid was a carnivorous aquatic creature native to Aantooine. It had ten limbs with large pincers and two heads. Each head had a mouth full of sharp needles and 18 eyes, which could see in visible and infrared light. It fed primarily on the local fish deep in the Pejat Ocean. Appearances of the grapid were things of legend as it rarely came to the surface, but when it did, it ravaged seaports and destroyed entire ships. The creature was revered by many to be a remnant of the former Aan Empire which was experimenting with genetic mutation.
