Lianokami of Conté is the first child and daughter of Prince Roald of Conté and Princess Shinkokami. She was born after the Scanran War. She is the heir apparent (rather than heir presumptive); her place in the line of succession is assured, regardless of whether male heirs are born. Her name is contracted from the now-traditional Conté name "Lianne" and the Yamani Imperial suffix "-kami" to denote both sides of her heritage.

| - Lianokami of Conté is the first child and daughter of Prince Roald of Conté and Princess Shinkokami. As Tortall is moving away from male primogeniture —a practice that entails the inheritance to the next male heir, regardless of age—and to absolute cognatic primogeniture (that the inheritance is entailed to the next born heir, regardless of gender), Lianokami is second in line to the throne, after her father. If she marries a foreign ruler or someone in line to inherit the throne of another country, Lianokami will forfeit her right to the Tortallan throne, like her aunt Kalasin did upon her marriage to Emperor Kaddar.
