Joanna Wingfield (b. 1610) was the daughter of Edward and Anne Wingfield of the English Jamestown colony. At the age of a few months, Joanna was abducted by a group of sims. Despite the fears of her parents, the sims merely wanted to study Joanna by comparing and contrasting her with one of their own infants. Her father led a successful expedition to rescue her. Joanna's great-grandson Thomas Kenton became a famous explorer.
