Supermarkets are resource buildings in Tropico 4: Modern Times that take the place of marketplaces. Supermarkets act the same way but they employ more people, have higher upkeep, storage capacity, and a flat 20 point increase in food quality for any meals obtained from it. Supermarkets also allow control over the kind of food available that can further influence food quality.
