Blended Learning in English Language Teaching refers to the combination of diverse delivery channels and teaching tools as part of course design. While the term has only appeared in the last ten years, the concept of blending in ELT has existed for far longer. Today, Blended Learning often reflects a combination of face-to-face instruction with e-learning and/or mobile learning. The degree of integration of the different components of the course is one aspect of the instructional design.
