Online or mobile components often used in Blended Learning include LMS-driven online courseware, blogs, wikis, podcasts downloadable to MP3 devices and cell phones, and discussion forums. Bold strides are being made into the use of social networking platforms and virtual learning environments (VLE) such as Second Life.
