Slapping has been around since the original LittleBigPlanet and is used in LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, LittleBigPlanet Karting, and LittleBigPlanet 3. Slapping is a comic relief when playing with friends and can be used in levels, your pod, or even in create mode. When a player is slapped, they are temporary stunned and cannot move for about 2 seconds. The player who slapped the other player recovers from their slap in a little bit over 2 seconds, just enough time for the other player to get back up and slap player for revenge. You can slap a player by holding L2, for your left hand, or R2, for your right hand, and use the Left Joystick or the Right Joystick swiping in the direction of the other Sackboy to hit the player down. Slapping is a little bit different in LittleBigPlanet Karting. When playing Karting, you use the Right Joystick to slap an opponent while racing, spinning the player and stalling them for a few seconds. It's a good strategic move to get ahead of another racer.
