Abigail Williams is an American metal band, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, but now based in Los Angeles. Formed in 2004, the group would suffer constant changes to their line-up. Shortly after an eight-week tour in support of In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns, vocalist Ken Sorceron would become the only original member remaining.

- Abigail Williams is a witch revived by Maxim Horvath in The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010). She is based on the real Abigail Williams who was convicted of witchcraft in the Salem witch trials. Maxim Horvath killed her to release Morgana when her job was done. Historically, Abigail Williams was one of the accusers of the Salem witch trials, an eleven-year-old girl who claimed to have been bewitched by a neighbor. Interestingly, Abigail wears a pentacle talisman around her neck instead of the jewelled ring used by many other sorcerers in the film. The character is played by Nicole Ehinger.

| - The accuser is always relevant in society. In America there were the witch trials, the Red Scare, and now terrorism. Everyone is always quick to point a finger; we do it out of fear, prejudice, and because of things we don’t understand. So, the accuser will always be present in society. Abigail Williams really stuck out to us, not only due to the above mentioned, but also because it possessed that iconic quality, while still sounding very American. We want people to know where we are from, and that even though it may not be cool/trendy, we are proud of our American culture.
