His comedic talents can be seen in one off special Blackadder: The Cavalier Years, and in the episode "Amy and Amiability" of the series Blackadder the Third, where he played Mr. Hardwood. In the The Cavalier Years, Clarke plays Oliver Cromwell who threatens to kill the king if he does not pay him a large sum of money.

* Barry in 1965
* Kenny Pickup in 1966
* Student Tim Jordan in 1968
* Elsie Tanner's nephew Gary Bailey, also in 1968. Just a few weeks before the first of these roles, he appeared in an episode of the Street spin-off Pardon the Expression, a series in which he made two appearances in two different roles in the following year. Afterwards Warren had a large part in the controversial 1971 Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange, and went on to appear in The Onedin Line, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Minder and Blackadder the Third.
