In 1 ABY, Jorrel met Juline Nichole Kannaer during an Imperial blockade of the planet Bestine IV due to a Rebel uprising. After being aided by the young woman, Jorrel managed to escape the planet and run the blockade, escaping to safety. Jorrel and Juline would keep in touch over the next few years, during which Jorrel became an employee of Twin Suns Transport Services. However, after the Imperial nationalization of Azzameen assets, including the company, Jorrel returned to his freelance business. Jorrel later, in 3 ABY, married Juline on Taris, after another close call on the planet Bespin, where the two had been vacationing.
