Synopsis
| - In Pittsburgh, Firestorm issues an ultimatum to a factory owner, telling him to stop polluting or he will have to contend with Firestorm. Later in the day, Lorraine Reilly goes to Ronnie Raymond's apartment to find Martin Stein there. Stein tells here Ronnie's bed has been slept in, but he is not there. A special bulletin plays across the television, that Firestorm has turned Vandermeet Steel Works to slag. Lorraine becomes Firehawk and flies to find Firestorm.
Parasite, in a cell, absorbs the life energy of a doctor who rushes in to help him.
Firehawk catches up with Firestorm and Firestorm tells her that he has assumed his true elemental form and that Ronnie Raymond no longer exists. Firehawk flies away in a huff.
Meanwhile Parasite is free and flying overhead, Flamehawk sees him and lands to try an contain him. Parasite feeds off Flamehawk, causing her to turn back into Lorraine. Firestorm arrives and defeats Parasite. Firestorm flies off into the sky.
