| Synopsis
| - In San Francisco, the New Mutants and Loki are discussing the history of the spell Sigurd used. They decide that since Loki gave the original spell to Sigurd, he should be able to come up with a counter-spell. To create it, they need items including the hammer of Arthur, the spittle of the fat guy running the cafe, a lock of hair from Andy and the blood of the hairdresser, the goods of Helen and the oath of the homeless guy, along with the sweat of Tif.
While they are gathering the items for their counter-spell, the Disordered Eaters in Recovery group are holding another meeting when Brun comes in and informs them all that she can eat, and without her "allergies" kicking in. She then presents them all with a bag of food, and they all begin to eat ravenously.
Elsewhere, the New Mutants realize that the spell is getting thinner, and if it breaks the Asgardians will cease to exist. All over town, the Asgardians are beginning to revert to their normal selves. As Loki prepares the spell, a horrible scream erupts from the church where the Disordered Eaters in Recovery are meeting, and the Disir in their true forms burst forth to begin devouring everything and everyone. It turns out that "Luke" never really remembered being Loki as he was just pretending, thinking that the New Mutants were just playing a game.
