  • King Akotek is a former monarch who was said to be one of the wealthiest rulers in history. When he died, his enormous wealth was buried along with him in a tomb, hidden deep in a thick jungle. A moving statue inside the tomb reveals that Akotek was in fact an insect, possibly a mantis, dressed in an ancient Egyptian style. Queen Zorabel, the Spice Maidens, Captain Plunder and the Sky Pirates all trekked to the burial site in order to steal the king's treasure. Unfortunately, Filch was too late to warn Plunder that breaking the seal on the site would subject the trespasser to The Curse of King Akotek, given to the pirate by the statue. After Plunder was inflicted with the curse, the statue returned to immobility and the Spice Maidens proceeded to loot the treasure.
