He was most notable for hosting his own game show, Win Ben Stein's Money, from 1997-2003, and two specials; one was the first installment of The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments on NBC along with other well known game show hosts and the other was Game Show Moments Gone Bananas for VH1. He was also recognized in works such as Clear Eye commercials, a teacher in the Richie Rich movie and an economics teacher in Ferris Buller's Day Off. Ben also hosted his own talk show on Comedy Central, Turn Ben Stein On. In 2003, Stein was a judge during the first season of The New Star Search. When he started out, he was a speech writer for Richard Nixon.
