Hiligo Wast (/hɨˈliː.goʊ wɒst/) was a male Abstalian non-commissioned officer in the Royal Army of the Golden Empire. He was born on Abstalia and enlisted in 147 ABY. By 155 ABY, he had been promoted to sergeant and was squad leader of Grek Squad aboard the Valkyrie, the flagship of Breek Zagrev. During the Battle of Chimet, Wast led Grek Squad, including Kyriel Windrunner, who was detailed to the unit, in capturing a water treatment plant in the planet's capital. Of the six-member Team One he assembled, only Wast, Windrunner, and Jurojo made it inside the plant.

He was well-liked by his soldiers, although he sometimes had to rein in Temzin's sarcasm and running commentary on battles.
