Story by G. Warlock Vance, published in Rehearsals for Oblivion (Act I). This is a Sherlock Holmes pastiche set in nineteenth century London. A dead girl is found tattooed with The Yellow Sign and a copy of The King In Yellow is found at the scene. Gibson Chambers is the prime suspect and Holmes states that he is a madman who believes he can use the Play to summon The King In Yellow.
