Force Dream was an ancient Force power first discovered by the Jedi Knight Zayne Carrick. One of the few Force abilities that could not be learned, all Force-sensitives and even some non-Force-sensitives were capable of the feat, although occurrences of this feat were extremely rare. When one was in a state of Force Dream, one would find themselves in an area that has, in the past, had particular significance to them, but the events in this "dream" could differ significantly from those that actually occurred.

The most notable occasion of a Force Dream was during the year 63 ABY when the Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, having just received news of his nephew's capture by the Sith, fell into a deep slumber only to be met by an illusion of his father on the Second Death Star.
