RACE was an organization that paralleled the real-life Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). In Price's dream, he was a member of RACE, which was actively trying to change the racial hierarchy of Mississippi, which saw blacks actively oppress whites, such as Price. In the nightmare, Price and two fellow RACE members, Muhammad Shabazz and Tariq Abdul-Rashid, both Black Muslims, were arrested and subsequently murdered by black officials who were part of the Black Knights of Voodoo, in much the same way Price had helped murder CORE members James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner.
