The great Sawtooth makes his home in the Dead Forest, as does the Sayormi leader Cyrans the Unfeeling and his queen. A small contingent of Imperial Scout Troopers have also been seen in the Forest, though no one knows quite why they are there.(They're part of the the Doing your Duty quest line)

- The Dead Forest is a biome, in which it spawns Spruce, Dead, and Dying Trees. The sky is a hazy, ominous gray color. Animals do spawn here, and survival is easier because of the persimmon-bearing Dying Trees. It is easier than usual to start a farm here because of (as mentioned earlier) the persimmon fruits; however, not all Dying Trees bear persimmon fruits. Villages can spawn in this biome.
- The forest is known to be nearly impossible to enter because of the forest gates. The forest was believed to also hold the witch, Suzorine who cursed the woods to forever be a place of the dead. After she casted that curse, she decided to also live there. After many years of being there, she decided to seal it up with the forest gates. Only a powerful sorcerer or witch could break off the seals. The humans that live within the forest are not exactly deep within the woods. The deeper into the woods, the more darker it gets. The deepest of the woods is Dead man's grave.
