Verre Sydia was a Human female senator in the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. Around 30 ABY, however, she was bought out to be an agent of the criminal group Core Triad. She accepted it partly because of the money and partly because she developed romantic feelings for Sang Juntao, the group's leader. Following the Skirmish in Imperial City, Juntao escaped Coruscant on his yacht, and left Sydia behind. The Galactic Alliance Security found out of her dealings and tried to apprehend her, but she fought back and was killed in the shootout.
