Mao Zedong (born December 26, 1893) was the Communist leader of the Soviet puppet regime, the Soviet Republic of China from 1932 to the defeat of the Red Alliance in 1944. Mao was captured by the Imperial Army of Japan as he fled the capital in 1944 and turned over to the Army of Emperor Pu Yi. Mao was tried for collaboration, treason and giving aid and comfort to the enemy and sentenced to death. On March 11, 1946 Mao was executed by a firing squad.
