The United Left is a democratic socialist political party located in the Commonwealth of Rutania. It is currently the only left-wing party in the nation.

The party was formed by some members of the Social Christian Party, including Abrahams, the local Newhaven People's Party and the Labour Party, led by Villanova. After two months of various discussions the leaders agreed that the ideology of the Party would be "broadly left" allowing social liberals, progressives, social democrats and socialists to support the Party and have their voices heard through membership votes and use of a small United Congress.

The United Left, has only been achieved a scarce few times. Currently, the party has 13 seats in Congress, and is lead by Justin Abrahams who has been in Congress since 2011. Deputy Leader George Wrexley is a new politician on the Lovian political landscape.

Today a United Left is, with the exception of several leftist micro alliances, a reality. In January 2009, the Communist Party of CyberNations merged with the Socialistic Empire and the left-leaning members of the Righteous Fist to form the International, a joint socialist-communist alliance with a large total membership. The reformation of the Socialist Workers Front briefly challenged the International, but its disbandment on February 5, 2010 left INT as the only large leftist alliance in the Cyberverse. The Libertarian Socialist Federation (LSF) after having split from the ICSN has maintained its independence since, and throughout this period has usually regarded the concept of Leftist Unity to be one of little value, bringing instability as well as weakness and confusion to Planet Bob's leftists. For the same reason that the bourgeois, the LSF asserts that leftists should not seek to unite into one alliance, although retaining close ties with one another is ideologically sound and tactically useful, and the LSF has in the past committed itself to leftist military blocs such as The Internationale, and is currently a member of CADRE alongside The International.
