| - Takuma Akiyama, designated TK-941, was an officer in the Stormtrooper Corps of the Galactic Empire and later various other Imperial factions, such as Thrawn's confederation. An hardened stormtrooper, Akiyama was a loyal Imperial, refusing to admit the Empire lost the Galactic Civil War. Initially a member of the Commission for Preservation of the New Order, he became a stormtrooper upon turning seventeen. Akiyama was a skilled fighter, and climbed up the ranks fairly quickly. Other officers noted he was one of the few exceptions to the COMPNOR stereotype of everyone in it being a fanatical, but unskilled Palpatine supporter. Under the reborn Palpatine's Dark Empire, he was placed in command of a reformed CompForce.

Other officers noted he was one of the few exceptions to the COMPNOR stereotype of everyone in it being a fanatical, but unskilled Palpatine supporter. Under the reborn Palpatine's Dark Empire, he was placed in command of a reformed CompForce. Akiyama took part in some of the most important battles of the Galactic Civil War, including the capture of the Tantive IV, the Evacuation of Yavin, the Battle of Hoth, the Subjugation of Bespin, the Battle of Endor, and the Liberation of Coruscant. He achieved the rank of major after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. Incredibly loyal to the Empire, he continued to fight for various Imperial factions after the death of the Emperor as the Empire declined. He was staunchly anti-Rebel Alliance and anti-New Republic, but that mood changed once the Bastion Accords were signed.
