- Rydia (りぢあ, Ridia) is a Fruit Vendor of Parm and was the one who accidentally sold the Garou Garou no Mi to Jeran, effectively starting his adventures that got him caught as a stowaway.

- Rydia is one of the playable characters in Final Fantasy IV and is the third FF4 character to appear in a Summer Contest. In the Summer 2008 Contest, Rydia was predicted to finish last in her match, but Marcus Fenix proved his 2007 run was a fluke, and Rydia ahead of him. She still lost to Auron and Sub-Zero, but beating Master Chief-lite sounds like a moral victory to me. Five years later, she was back for Character Battle IX, and lost in the first round to Alucard and Captain Falcon.

- The overseas releases of The After Years censored her artwork, which included a green skirt, and covered the exposed areas of her body, as was done with Porom and Ursula, but Rydia's artwork received the most censorship. The opening movie for Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection uses this design. Rydia's hair is green, shoulder-length in Final Fantasy IV and extending past her waist in The After Years. It is often complemented by a hair ornament which has varied in design.

- Rydia (jap. リディア, Ridia) ist ein spielbarer Charakter aus Final Fantasy IV und stammt ursprünglich aus dem Dorf Nebel, welches als Heimat der Beschwörer bekannt ist. Aus diesem Grunde kann sie neben Schwarz- und Weißmagie auch Beschwörbare herbeirufen. Zu Beginn der Handlung ist sie noch ein 7-jähriges Mädchen, jedoch gelangt sie später ins Land der Beschwörbaren, in dem die Zeit schneller vergeht und Rydia somit zu einer jungen Frau heranreift.
