  • Climb fast to the top of the castle - beat the timer and collect points! How to unlock: Collect the key in "Get a Grip" Welcome to the Castle Climb Challenge. The objective--beat the timer and get to the finish line as fast as you can for a good high score. As with some of the races you've already experienced, you can temporarily pause the countdown timer while also getting score bubbles. This is a basic race for the finish line. As with all challenges, you need not worry about seeking out hidden prize bubbles, since there aren't any. To begin the race, climb the ramp and step on the pad in front of the gate. As soon as it opens, you're off! You have 120 seconds to make it from the bottom to the top of the castle, surviving the hazards and pitfalls along the way. While there is plenty of time, you can find yourself running short of it you start missing jumps or getting stuck at certain obstacles. When you reach the finish line, points are awarded to your score for any leftover time. All information taken out of the LittleBigPlanet SuperBook. General Tips: Keep moving! Yes, this is stating the obvious, but there's no time for dilly-dallying now, is there? Make sure not to waste too much time trying to get that one score bubble you missed, as it may end up costing you more points by going back for it than if you just kept going. If you miss a jump and find yourself back a ways, do the almost unthinkable act and either pop yourself or find a way to perish (such as dropping onto those nasty spikes.) Frequently, it's faster to reappear at a checkpoint instead of retracing your steps. Wait for it! Jumping or releasing at the last possible second should help you get across some of the tougher obstacles, such as the swinging sponge balls and seesaws. There are a few spots where taking it right to the edge is the only way to reach that next platform or swing. Practice makes perfect! Yes, it's a cliche, but it's worth repeating. The more you replay and practice running through a course, the more familiar you become with it. And the more familiar you become with it, the faster and more adept you will be getting at it.
