(DS9 novel: A Stitch in Time) Opponents of the provisional government, disenfranchised by two and a half years of living under Dominion rule considered the new leadership to be nothing more than a Federation Alliance puppet government. To that end, True Way leader Gul Revok took the crew of the USS Lambda Paz as hostages. His demand was that the Federation and its allies cease in sending relief convoys to Cardassia as part of an elaborate plan to have Ghemor assassinated and lay blame on the Federation.
