- Umbar, the land of Corsairs, is a biome very similar to the Vanilla "Plains" biome, found on the western coast of Middle-Earth, South of Harondor and encased by Near Harad. So far, nothing spawns here other than vanilla Minecraft mobs. At the moment this is essentially a place-holder biome; it will be greatly improved and changed in the future when the Corsairs and Black Numenoreans are added to the mod. Im Westen grenzt Umbar an das große Meer Belegaer und im Osten und Süden an Harad. Im Zweiten Zeitalter entdeckten die Númenórer den natürlichen Hafen von Umbar, bauten eine große Festung und lebten anschließend dort. Die einzige bekannte Siedlung im Dritten Zeitalter ist die Stadt der Korsaren. Im Jahre 933 des Dritten Zeitalters wurde Ar-Pharazôn, dem letzten König von Númenor, zu Ehren eine Säule in Umbarlonde errichtet mit einer spiegelnden Kugel an der Spitze, die durch Sonne und Mond zum glänzen gebracht wurde. Im Jahre 1447 des Dritten Zeitalters wurde sie von Sauron zerstört.
- Umbar was a Mannish realm to the far south of Gondor in Middle-earth where the descendants of the King's Men lived, and in during the Great Years was known for the sea-faring Corsairs who reigned there in the havens that were builted during the reign of the Kings of Gondor. The great cape and land-locked firth of Umbar south of the Bay of Belfalas formed a natural harbour of enclosing rock, but the "great fortress of Númenor" that was located within it was not built until SA 2280. It was only by this time that Sauron had dared to threaten Númenor;
