The Phantom Zoners are the Kryptonian criminals that were exiled from Krypton and banished to the Phantom Zone. These criminals have escaped from time to time, usually lead by General Zod. Once, the Phantom Zoners created a monster called the Hunter, and they used it to travel to Earth to destroy Superman, and then release them from their prison. They are unsuccessful however, as Superman stops the monster and the monster itself is destroyed.
