The important thing to notice about craftsman equipment is that in the early levels, your equipment actually subtracts from important stats, such as attack speed and accuracy. In the higher levels, these negative stats go away. Craftsmen are good for making money, but only when they are successful in their crafts and refines. Otherwise, they will waste time and money. This class, although fun, can prove itself to be quite risky when it comes to doing the things that make you real money. Craft and refine success rates are low, and you generally lose the ability to solo past level 130. You will need friends and a guild to support you. Despite the disadvantages, craftsmen are helpful to the economy, as well as to other players.
