After Mega Man defeats Taurus Fire in the third game, the director of Sonia's drama serial enlists Mega Man to replace Belle, amazed by his power. Ice is not happy with this, and Jack takes the opportunity by giving Ice a Noised card, allowing her to have a chance to take revenge. Driven by jealous rage Ice accepts it and mutates into the fairy-like mutant Diamond Ice, and proceeds to attack the studio and attempt to stop Sonia's last live-stage performance.
