Second Lieutenant George G. Benedict (10 December 1826 to 8 April 1907) was an American soldier who fought in the American Civil War. Benedict was awarded the country's highest award for bravery during combat, the Medal of Honor, for his action during the Battle of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania on July 3, 1863. He was honored with the award on 27 June 1892.
