| - The Allied States Pledge of Loyalty is an oath which has to be taken by each citizen of the Allied States at the age of 18, or if someone wishes to become a citizen. The oath always has to be taken in the presence of the Flag of the Allied States as well as a recognized version of the Holy Bible, with the person taking the oath placing their right hand over their heart. Citizens who do not take the Pledge within one year of their 18th birthday may be subject to prosecution for treason. The Pledge reads as follows: "By taking this oath, I, who have come of age, or seek citizenship in this great country, officially renounce any and all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign state, or sovereignty of whom or which I may have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the Allied States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the Allied States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in any branch of the Military of the Allied States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law. I pledge my allegiance to the flag of the Allied States, and to the alliance for which it stands, and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."
