first appeared in Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin!. Litleo protected Jake from Pikachu's Electro Ball, which had been rebounded by Wobbuffet's Mirror Coat. At the end of the episode, Litleo appeared in front of Sycamore's lab with a Poké Ball and asked Jake to catch it, which Jake did so gladly. Litleo's Moves: Hyper Voice, Flamethower, Headbutt and Ember. It later evolved into a Pyroar during a battle against Team Rocket.
- Blitzle first appeared in What Lies Beyond Truth and Ideals!. Blitzle is very affectionate towards Jake and similar to Ursaring, Blitzle is jealous of Electivine's bond with Jake and even sometimes pops out of its Poké Ball to show its worth. Blitzle's Moves: Shock Wave, Charge, Tail Whip, Quick Attack and Discharge.
- Jake borrowed Torkoal from Ash to battle May with Squirtle.
- Rotom first appeared in What Lies Beyond Truth and Ideals!. It's unknown when and how Jake came across Rotom. Rotom's Moves: Thunderbolt, Volt Tackle, Hydro Pump, Overheat and Air Slash.
- Jake once saved a Girafarig from Team Rocket. Ever since then it has become a powerhouse in Jake's team winning many Frontier Battles. It now resides back in Elm's Lab during Jake's journey to Hoenn.
- Jake was temporarily given a Skiddo in order to train it for another trainer.
- Manectric was captured by Jake back when it was Electrike. It has numerous powerful attacks such as Odor Sleuth at its disposal, to help win battles. Jake left it at Elm's when he decided to make a fresh start when he left for Sinnoh.
- After evolving from Teddiursa, Ursaring kept it's longing feelings for Jake which did end up getting it in trouble on several occasions. However after getting used to its size, it managed to become a vital part of Jake's team and helped win many Gym & League battles. Jake left it at Elm's when he decided to make a fresh start when he left for Sinnoh.
- Evee first appeared in To Catch a Pokémon Monster!. After an intense battle with Jake's Litleo, Jake captured it. It later evolved into a Jolteon during a battle against Barbaracle. Jolteon's Moves: Tail Whip, Tackle, Thundershock, Quick Attack, Thunder Fang, Thunder Wave and Discharge, and it's ability is Volt Absorb.
- Jake borrowed Seaking from Misty to participate in swimming part of the Triathlete. However, he did not win the contest and returned Seaking to her around the end of the episode.
- Jake caught Gallade in Sinnoh. It was used during the Tournament and made himself a real powerhouse Pokémon of Jake's team. Gallade's Moves: Leer, Fury Cutter, Leaf Blade, Slash, Double Team and Teleport.
- Jake befriended this Emolga, who he gained the trust of after saving it.
- Snover hatched from its egg after being found by Jake's Jolteon. It got captured by Team Rocket, who wanted to make him evolve into Abomasnow. Later Snover use his Snow Warning to send Team Rocket blasting off into the sky. Later it decided to join Jake's team.
- Alakazam was the first Pokémon Jake caught back went it was Abra. It had became a vital part of Jake's team and won many gym and league battles for Jake. Alakazam's Moves: Teleport, Telekinesis, Confusion, Psybeam, Future Sight and Miracle Eye, and it's ability is Inner Focus.
- While training for the Hoenn League, Jake brought his Natu with many of his other Pokémon. However, Team Rocket tried to cause problems and Natu evolved in order to stop them. Xatu has numerous powerful attacks such as Leer at its disposal, showing that it has completely overcome its previous hindrances in its base form and is sure to be a powerful Pokémon within Jake's team. It's ability is Early Bird.
- It's unknown when and how Jake came across Tynamo. Tynamo's Moves: Tackle, Spark, Charge Beam and Thunder Wave, and it's ability is Levitate.
- Captured in the Sinnoh region, Plusle is a good strong Pokémon that Jake has fallen back on in the Sinnoh league. However it has not seen much experience outside of those leagues. Plusle's Moves: Tackle, Thunder Shock and Growl.
- Jake's Starter Pokémon. He has used it in many battles and has become very powerful since it's time as a Elekid. Electivire's Moves: ThunderShock, Thunderbolt, Swift, Quick Attack, Thunder, Low Kick, Discharge, Leer, Iron Tail and Electro Ball, and it's ability is Motor Drive.
- Captured sometime in Sinnoh. Jake used it in a number of battles and the Sinnoh league where it managed to hold its own successfully. Jake left it at Elm's when he decided to make a fresh start when he left for Uvoua.
- Captured by Jake, Beldum has always been an incredibly strong Pokémon with an aptitude for Pokémon Battles. Beldum is one of Jake's powerhouses with powerful moves such as Iron Head at its disposal. Beldum will likely be called upon often for battles.
- Electrode was the first Pokémon Jake caught back went it was Voltorb. It had became a vital part of Jake's team and won many gym and league battles for Jake. Electrode's Moves: Thunder Shock, Thunderbolt, Tackle, Volt Tackle and Electro Ball, and it's ability is Static.
- Jake caught Elgyem in Unova after an intense battle with Jake's Blitzle, Jake captured it. Elgyem's Moves: Psybeam, Zen Headbutt, Recover, Growl and Calm Mind.
