The HyperVelocity Series was a line of high performance capital ship engines produced by Tashiro Industries a subsidiary of the Mikaru Corporation. Various models of ships utilized the engines of the series over the years with the first major production run being utilized on the Kalak'tanna-class Star Cruiser and various other ships including the Sahara-class Bulk Cruiser. The Engines were known for their short startup time and high thrust output. They were the sister series of the smaller UltraVelocity engines, scaled down starfighter and freighter models that offered many of the similar ratings.
