- The Swamp Monster is a creature that appears in the Episode Bitzer from Black Lagoon in which Shaun mistook it for Sheepdog Bitzer who was having a shower in Farmers house, but before Shaun and the Swamp Monster become friendly, Shaun started to panic and think that monster will eat him but it was just trying to return to Shaun his football, after that Shaun and his Flock washed up the Monster and its True Humanoid form was revealed.

- The Swamp Monster was created when the Choate Chemical Plant dumped its new chemical HOS92 into the swamp. When it arose, the Swamp Creature wanted the monster to get more of the HOS92. It attacked Dr. Diablo and obtained more HOS92, causing more Swamp Monsters to be created. Ellis Johnson called the Ghostbusters, but Dr. Diablo wanted to solve the problem himself, so he dumped a new chemical called GJMT into the swamp hoping that it would destroy the swamp beings. Instead, it created new purple swamp monsters. The green swamp monsters and the purple swamp monsters then started fighting until the Swamp Creature revealed itself. - Each swamp monster consisted of a large, gelatinous mass that housed the brain and other vital organs. They also had a number of large tentacles protruding from the central mass. The brain and nervous system were spread across the body, meaning that their ability to think was slow. They kept their bodies submerged in water because they were so large and interacted with dry land using their tentacles. Each tentacle could penetrate the skull of another being; this allowed it to control them in a similar fashion to a puppet. By attaching tentacles to other beings, a swamp monster was capable of utilising their skills and intelligence.
