The shower is similar to a car wash as it uses a track-like method of wheeling Ed in, cleaning him, and moving him to the next station. As it is designed, the shower works in three stages. First, the person would sit down naked in a wagon and go through an initial shampooing and body washing. Second, the person would then be doused with water to wash away the soap. Lastly, although unseen, the person would go underneath a fan to dry off.
