The Ambrose family had been moonshine for three generations in their shed, sharing it amongst themselves and close friends when wanted. When David Ambrose heard about Tallmadge's reforms, he quickly came up with the idea of selling his family's blend. He took samples to the banks and lenders he could think of, but found none responsive. Undeterred, he began to ask relatives and friends for money, even promising a third of the company to his cousin's ex.

He took samples to the banks and lenders he could think of, but found none responsive. Undeterred, he began to ask relatives and friends for money, even promising a third of the company to his cousin's ex. He would manage to gather enough funds and expand his operations in 2277, selling Uncle larry's Gin and Whiskey in front of their houses. The brand would attract a following soon enough and their products were carried by several stores and bars by 2279. Almost all of the profits were spent maintaining their farm plots and repaying their loans, and they would find that by 2281 they had paid all their debts off. They would expand their fields to ensure a stable supply as they had shortages in the past, and start to market their products. Posters of Uncle Larry would be put up, a robust, jolly looking elderly man with a well-trimmed beard hold a bottle of one of his drinks. This would attract more interest, which Ambrose and his staffed followed by selling shares of the company. Able to double their operations, Uncle Larry's has steadily spread throughout The Royal Dominion, as well as on The Gulf Belt, though only in Mexico. As 2287 comes to a close, they plan to reveal the latest brand, Uncle Larry's Vodka, grown from imported potatoes.
