Shortly afterwards, Dave’s valuable leadership skills became instrumental in the culmination of two entities, Crown Ministries and Christian Financial Concepts. In a five month timeframe, Dave led both ministries through rigorous but seamless merger activities to form the newly created Crown Financial Ministries, with an inception date of September 2000. Since January 2002, serving as the ministry’s president, Dave has effectively led his operational staff toward the God-sized goal of teaching biblical financial principles to 300 million people by September 2015. Prior to joining Crown Ministries, Dave served with Business & Professional Ministries, a division of The Navigators, beginning in 1992. During that time, he also started two businesses: Hockey Network International in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and EDiX Corporation, a medical transcription company based in Manhattan Beach, California. HNI allowed Dave to utilize his professional and spiritual background to provide life-skills mentoring for professional athletes in the Judeo-Christian context. As EDiX’s president and co-founder, Dave developed a business concept plan using long distance technology to provide nearly instantaneous transcription of patients’ medical records. Dave was employed with Apple Canada, Inc., from 1985 to 1992. During his tenure, Dave received recognition as Apple’s Manager of the Year on three separate occasions. Under his leadership, Canada enjoyed the highest percentage of market share for Apple in the world, growing revenues from $78 million to $323 million. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Toronto and has completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Dave and his wife, Ann, are the parents of three adult children, Kelly, Brian, and Kristy, and currently reside in Buford, GA.
