  • Chief Executive was the term given to the leader of an Allied Command within the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Chief Executives were responsible for leading their Command in a similar fashion to the Chief of State, just on a smaller scale and confined to their own sphere of influence. Chief Executives varied greatly from Command to Command. In some Commands, the Chief Executive was the ruler of the planet, in others, the position was an elected or appointed one. The Chief Executive did not have to be a single individual, but could be a group such as a board of directors or an alien hive intelligence.
