| - The Attack Helicopter is a limited-time decoration that was released on June 28, 2016, as part of the Superheroes 2016 Event. It the third prize to be won in the event's Issue 2.
- The Attack Helicopter is the second and final unit in the Helicopters unit line, available in the Information Age. It upgrades from the Modern Age Helicopter. Like its predecessor, the Attack Helicopter is a detector unit - it reveals invisible units within its line of sight, allowing nearby units to attack it. Also, unlike Fighters and Bombers, Helicopters in general are not garrisoned inside the Airbase after construction. They are controlled like all other units and can hover in the air indefinitely without any need to refuel.
- Weapons used on attack helicopters can include autocannons, machine-guns, rockets, and guided missiles such as the Hellfire. Many attack helicopters are also capable of carrying air to air missiles, though mostly for purposes of self-defense. Today's attack helicopter has two main roles: first, to provide direct and accurate close air support for ground troops, and the second, in the anti-tank role to destroy enemy armor concentrations. Attack helicopters are also used to supplement lighter helicopters in the armed scout role. In combat, an attack helicopter is projected to destroy around 17 times its own production cost before it is destroyed.
- The Attack Helicopter is a killstreak reward featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified, and an Assault Strike Chain pointstreak in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
