Heroes are usually sent to these battles along with armies. However, battles can also bring out the hero of a once-weak individual, or bring eternal darkness onto the the world. | - When WindClan refuses to join TigerClan, the newly formed Clan launches an attack on WindClan.
- Tigerstar, having brought BloodClan into the forest in order to drive out any cats that opposed him, is killed by Scourge when he attempts to order BloodClan to attack. Scourge then delivers an ultimatum to the Clans, ordering them to leave the forest in three days or die. Firestar unites the four Clans into LionClan in order to combat the threat.
- After spending many moons training Clan cats to prepare for the big battle to come, the Dark Forest has finally risen to the challenge. StarClan is weakened and the Clans are threatened. The time has come for the battle to begin, and for the Dark Forest to take revenge on the Clans.
- Onestar leads his warriors into the ThunderClan camp, and an outraged Firestar commands them to leave. Instead of leaving however, they split up their patrols in ThunderClan territory.
