Synopsis
| - Superboy-Prime shows up at the Kent farm in Smallville. He tells Conner that only he has the right to call himself Superboy. Superboy-Prime attacks him and nearly injures the Kents. Krypto rises to Conner's defense and bites Prime on the shoulder. He brutally injures Krypto and then resumes his bloodthirsty attack on Conner.
Meanwhile, Beast Boy visits the Doom Patrol at their new headquarters in Key Mordaz, Florida. None of the DP members ever recall seeing them before. Beast Boy asks how Elasti-Girl is still alive, but she has no recollection of ever being anything but. The Chief tells Gar that he has had a dream wherein he envisioned the Doom Patrol's demise at the hands of General Zahl.
Shortly thereafter, the Titans learn about the Superboy fight in Smallville. They call in every hero available including the Doom Patrol, the JSA and the Titans reserve members. Jay Garrick, Wally West and Kid Flash scoop up Superboy-Prime and race away with him. The rest of the heroes follow suit and begin fighting him again in Keystone City.
