- The Mask of Emulation was a Kanohi that gave its user the power to analyze and replicate a power from another being. The length of the replication process varied, depending on the power. When copied, the ability became like a temporary mask power. The Mask of Emulation could not copy Rahi powers, Kanohi powers, or weapon powers. If the user deactivated their mask, they would have to recopy the duplicated power, but the process would be quicker.

- The Mask of Emulation was a Kanohi that enabled its bearer replicate the non-Elemental Power based abilities of a subject, duplicating a target's skill set and allowing the wearer to adapt to combat situations. The mask allowed the wearer to replicate physical capabilities of a subject by observing their performance, regardless of complexity. Due to the mnemonic nature of the Mask of Emulation, a user could not emulate weapons, other Kanohi Powers, or natural Rahi powers as this would infringe upon the territory of the Mask of Conjuring and of the Kanohi Faxon. Furthermore, a user had to first witness the desired skill being performed, though the Kanohi itself was capable of retaining information on certain fighting styles and capabilities when activated.
