I pop in for the first time in months to see what's going on and I notice my article's name here. Whoa. Kinda crazy, especially since I've been meaning to revamp this a good bit. Well, I've got a lot of free time this weekend, I might as well do so. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 03:51, February 1, 2014 (UTC)

  • I hadn't even realized this had been nominated until a few days ago. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I personally consider this article to be my magnum opus in terms of my work here on Halo Fanon. It was something I had considered doing and had thought about ever since I first saw a canon expansion on this site and realized that it was possible to wrote something like that. I actually came very close to never putting any of the ideas I had for this article down into text, and even then, I debated for the longest time as to whether or not it would be wise to put it on the site. I'm not quite certain why that was anymore; something like that I was worried my description of the weapon would make it obvious that it was written by someone who had never actually handled a firearm before, if my memory serves me correctly. However, in the end, that seems to have not been the case, or at least if it was, it wasn't a big deal, considering how well-received this article has been. All-in-all, I'm very glad I went through with this idea after all. I've since considered doing another article like this one, perhaps on the new MA5D that I quickly fell in love with in Halo 4, or the fan-favorite BR55 . But only time will tell if that idea will also see the light of day.
