  • The humans of Thetan are similar to those presented in the Dungeons & Dragons Player’s Handbook. They are a varied people both physically and culturally. Personality: Humans possess the most diverse range of personality traits of any of the Children of Thetan. They are capable of displaying any emotion. They are the most ambitious of any of the races. Description: Some scholars attempt to divide the human race into three major ethnic groups (namely, the Tarsal, Caru, and Brus), though few humans identify themselves as a specific ethnicity. Scholars who do subscribe to the concept of ethnic division suggest that the groups can be divided by complexion, eye and hair color, and body type. They posit that men of fair complexion, dark colored eyes and hair, and medium height are of Caru heritage; men of swart complexion with light colored eyes and hair, and tall and slender builds are Brus; and men of light brown complexion, a wide range of eye and hair color, and a short and stocky build are Tarsals. However, in modern times, it is nearly impossible to classify humans by ethnicity do to the wide range and inconsistencies in physical appearance. Relations: There is little consistency in the relations of humans with other races. Some humans are accepting of and friendly to members of all races, while others establish alliances only when it benefits them. In general, humans are most likely to befriend erthen and grasswalkers. Alignment: Humans do not tend toward or away from any alignment. Regions: Humans inhabit the inner portions of the continent of Thetan (specifically, all the lands claimed by the Kingdom of Tarsalia) and the Golden Isles. Religion: Most humans of the world are monotheistic and worship Tassadar. Some humans are polytheistic and worship one or more of the gods and goddesses of the Pantheon of Thetan.
