Count Your Curses is a two-piece trip-hop/electronic group formed in January 2011. The project started as a long-distance collaboration between vocalist Chad Ackerman (As I Lay Dying, Austrian Death Machine, Destroy the Runner, and Chapter 14), Kevin Kelsey (Programming, Synth, and Keyboards) and Sean Sallings (Guitars, Bass, & Percussion). On March 2nd, 2012 it was announced that Chad would step down as the main vocalist, and the remaining members would continue the project, utilizing guest vocalists (including Chad) on future songs.
