- George Pataki was the longest-serving Governor of New York. Pataki, the son of immigrant Hungarian parents, understands what it means to fight for freedom.[1] He understands the value of hard work.[2] He is a great American who understands how the world has changed Since Nine-Eleven. Unfortunately, George (what a great name!) is probably not running for President in 2008.
