The Astros program was a followup to the Cosmos Space Program. The Astros 1 probe was launched in 1997, Astros 2 in 1999 and Astros 3 in 2002. Astros 1 passed Jupiter and Saturn and is on course to exiting the solar system. Astros 2 is in the orbit of Jupiter after having veered too close to its moon Callisto.
