  • Mötley Crüe rocks but apparently not according to the higher powers of wikiality. They were the most successful band of of the 80s. While they essentially created 'Hair Metal' they werent exactly happy with its spawn (Poison among others). Since that they tried to stray from that image (while still using hairspray of course). Mötley Crüe's 1994 album showed how heavy they could be. Mötley Crüe recently co headline a tour with Aerosmith.

The band has often been noted for their hard-living lifestyles; all members have had numerous brushes with the law, spent time in jail, suffered long addictions to alcohol and drugs, had countless escapades with women, and are heavily tattooed. Their ninth studio album entitled Saints of Los Angeles was released on June 24, 2008, while a film adaptation of their best-selling band autobiography The Dirt, is due to be released sometime in 2009.

It is still unknown how Dr. Colbert feels about Mötley Crüe, but hopefully he will let the public know soon. It is believed that he is more of a Guns N' Roses fan, if this is true then there is no possible way that Dr. Colbert can be a fan of Mötley Crüe, due to Axl Rose hating Vince Neil.
